WITNESSES are being sought to a crash on the A2220 Horsham Road, Crawley at 12.30pm yesterday (13 September) in which a young motorcyclist died.
The 21-year-old man, from Shoreham-by-Sea, was riding a white Yamaha 125cc east on the dual carriageway, 50 metres away from the Breezehurst Drive roundabout.

Massage and herbal remedy business to open in town centre
A massage and herbal remedy centre is to open in the town centre after permission was granted to change the use of a retail unit from a hairdressers'.
The application was for the unit at 8 Haslett Avenue West which was being occupied by Lash Chic beauty salon.
The applicant wants to open the massage centre between 10am and 8pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sundays. Permission was granted by Crawley Borough Council on August 28.

First phase of work to expand nursery at Tilgate school completed
THE first phase of a project which will eventually see the nursery at a Tilgate school extended was completed during the summer break.Work to extend the car park at The Oaks Primary, in Loppets Road, was started by Horsham-based Fowler Building Contractors Ltd at the end of July and finished in time for the start of the new school year last week.During the summer holidays in 2016 the second phase will be carried out, which will see the nursery extended.

A PROJECT to make it easier for people to navigate their way through Manor Royal has been launched with plans to split the district into different colour-coded zones.
Manor Royal Business Improvement District (BID) has submitted two planning applications to Crawley Borough Council.

The man was found in a kayak on Yaverland Beach, Sandown around 7.20pm on Friday (September 11).

AN 18-year-old man from Maidenbower was shaken but unhurt after his car crashed into a wall in Worth this morning.
Sussex Police officers were called to Turners Hill Road at about 7.35am, where a blue Toyota Yaris car had left the road and collided with a wall.
The driver, an 18-year-old man from Maidenbower, who had been travelling east towards East Grinstead, was shocked but otherwise unhurt.
