A massage and herbal remedy centre is to open in the town centre after permission was granted to change the use of a retail unit from a hairdressers'. The application was for the unit at 8 Haslett Avenue West which was being occupied by Lash Chic beauty salon. The applicant wants to open the massage centre between 10am and 8pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sundays. Permission was granted by Crawley Borough Council on August 28.

THE first phase of a project which will eventually see the nursery at a Tilgate school extended was completed during the summer break.Work to extend the car park at The Oaks Primary, in Loppets Road, was started by Horsham-based Fowler Building Contractors Ltd at the end of July and finished in time for the start of the new school year last week.During the summer holidays in 2016 the second phase will be carried out, which will see the nursery extended.
