UPDATE: Langley Green Hospital fire was started deliberately
A FIRE which broke out on a ward at Langley Green Hospital this morning (Friday) was started deliberately, a spokeswoman for the hospital said.
The blaze was fortunately contained before it spread and nobody was injured and the trust which runs the hospital, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, is carrying out an investigation into the cause of the fire.

Motorbike stolen from outside Bewbush home
A MOTORBIKE has been stolen from outside a property in Bewbush.
Sussex Police were called to Waterside Close on August 24 after the theft was reported. A black Yamaha motorbike was stolen from outside the house the night before between 11.30pm and 9.30am.

BREAKING NEWS: A264 closed between Broadfield and Bewbush as air...
THE A264 was reportedly closed in both directions this afternoon following a crash on the stretch between Broadfield and Bewbush.
Emergency services are currently at the scene and an air ambulance has been called.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved and what is the extent of any injuries at this stage but eye witnesses have described seeing at least four police cars as well as an ambulance.
The air ambulance has reportedly landed in a field at Bewbush Academy.
